Reykjavík Open / Orðið er Frjálst is a community-oriented event hosted in English, offering local and visiting authors a platform to showcase their writing.

We welcome all languages and styles, from poetry to prose, fiction to nonfiction. Come and share your work! Sign up to read by emailing us here: rvkpoetics@gmail.com.

We're located at Mengi in downtown Reykjavík. Entrance is free, and everyone is welcome. Doors open at 19:30, and the readings start at 20:00.
