RVK Potetics #23: The Sea In Between

Reykjavík Poetics cordially invites you to our first event of 2026, The Sea in Between. The reading will feature the following Faroese and Icelandic poets:

RVK Poetics: The Sea in Between will be held on Friday, the 16th of January 2026, at Mengi (Óðinsgata 2, 101 Reykjavík), an intimate performance venue in downtown Reykjavík. The evening is curated by Michelle Spinei and Gabriel Dunsmith.

Doors open at 19:30, with readings beginning promptly at 20:00.
As seating is limited, we encourage listeners to arrive early.

The event will be hosted in English, with readings in Faroese, Icelandic, and English.

Refreshments will be provided, and the event is free to attend.

We are grateful for the support of the Reykjavík UNESCO City of Literature office, Bókmenntaborgin, West Nordic Capital Fund, and FarLit.

Reykjavík Poetics is a community-based reading series hosted in English.
